how’s it going. first thoughts on the website?
creating a website is one of those steps people tell you is necessary, and you’re skeptical at first before realising how easy it makes everything. now i get to show the world (for $150 a year) my “work”… for lack of a better term.
in the last few months, i’ve packed up my things and moved around the world - twice - before settling in the bay area. trust me, the irony is not lost on me. this city feels like it’s where art goes to die. AI billboards everywhere. techies buying up the properties. and yet, i find beauty in the fact that despite that, art seems to trudge on. murals. shows. performances. hopefully we’ll get to participate in that sooner than later. what’s an AI showcase without a live DJ? ha.
the world keeps spinning, creating, and then commodifying, and somehow art is still here. i have reason to believe that will stay true for generations to come, if not forever. my only wish is to be a part of that.
this move is without a doubt a dive in the dark. a leap of faith. nothing is clear, except this: we’re going to make it.
